Checkout the slide show on the media page.In the 2006-07 competition we had 5 teams working on project based learning activities ranging from fossils to World War II.

II. Life ‘Round Here 07

This was a very fun project that some of Center’s 4th and 5th graders took part in. They created multimedia presentations about their life in Waycross. We then posted them to the website and got to see other kids projects from around the world as well. The requirements of the project:

  1. It must involve students from 10 - 13 years old.
  2. Your class/school/group must be able to publish six stories. I intend to assign this project to over 100 students, and I will choose the top six to post on our school’s page here on the wiki.
  3. The stories must be in English or have subtitles in English.
  4. Stories must be published and “watchable” by October 31, 2007.
